Usage
atte vinyl should be handled with care before and after printing to prevent surface contamination that may spoil the print. The vinyl should be processed in an environment of 18°-30°C and 30-70% relative humidity (non-condensing) that is clean and relatively dust-free. When printing on the FJ-40/50, CJ-400/500 or FJ-400/500/600, use the lowest head position to produce the best quality results. Store this product in its original packaging in a cool dry area until ready for processing. If storage conditions are outside the recommended operating ranges, allow the vinyl to acclimate in the specified range for at least 24-48 hours before use.
Applications
Full-color graphics for long-term indoor applications and medium-term outdoor applications such as such as stickers and decals, banners, trade show displays, and general-purpose signage, especially if mounting is desired. It is water-resistant and suited for outdoor applications, but should be laminated for extra protection against abrasion, dirt and solvents. This vinyl is suitable for application to most regular surfaces (free of rivets, irregular curves and indentations) and removes cleanly after use from most surfaces. This vinyl should be laminated with high quality pressure-sensitive overlaminate films, particularly those designed for outdoor durability. For optimal print protection, it is essential to seal the edge of the graphic, either by overlapping the overlaminate or using an edge seal tape.
