Heat Transfer Film
Poli-flex is a high-quality polyurethane film with a matt, reflection-free surface laminated with a thermally activated adhesive.
Poli-flex excels due to the excellent opacity and elasticity of the carrier film and offers a comfortable textile touch.
Processing
Poli-flex can be cut with all current plotters. We recommend using a standard 45° blade.
Poli-flex is reverse-cut through the hotmelt adhesive to the surface of the polyester transfer film.
After weeding, the cut flex is transferred by heat press. See attached pdf file for press times and temperatures.
Lower application temperatures are possible (i.e. for polyester printed with sublimation ink) at a longer pressing time. We recommend min. 150°.
The polyester liner of Poli-flex can be removed hot and warm after thermal transfer.
Designed for a long-lasting bond to the textile is given, specially for tiny motifs, by pressing the polyester liner for another two seconds under application temperature.
Poli-flex is suitable for transfer to textiles like cotton, polyester/cotton blends and polyester/acrylic. Poli-flex can be used for lettering on T-Shirts, sports and leisure wear, sport bags and promotional articles such as flags and banners.
Features
Washable at 60°C and suitable for dry-cleaning.
Nylon and textiles with hydrophobic impregnation are not suitable for heat transfer.
We recommend evaluation on test material.
The soft elastic film offers a comfortable textile touch. Poli-flex is preferred due to the high wearing comfort and excellent opacity.
The raw materials are ecologically inert and do not contain PVC, plasticizers or heavy metals.
